NOTICE ABOUT THE ONLINE CLEARANCE

Instructions for Completing the 2012/2013 NDU Online Clearance
Please ensure that you go to an Internet centre that is reliable with knowledgeable staff. NDU nor its agents will not be held liable for any errors.
It is YOUR RESONSIBILITY to ensure that all filled in details are accurate.
A.
1. Buy an NDU Acceptance ePin Slip from Diamond Bank NDU Main Campus, Amassoma or Diamond Bank, Sanni Abacha Road, Yenagoa in Bayelsa State.
2. Go to http://www.ndu.ac and click on (Admission/Clearance Procedures) or http://www.ndu.ac

3. Click on (Step 2: Online Clearance)
4. Your existing details filled in the Post UTME will be used. Any errors noticed by you can only be corrected through the Admissions Office.
5. You will need to fill in any required details in the empty spaces provided. Ensure you provide accurate and upto date information.
6. You will need to scan and upload the documents required in Part B below. To ensure a speedy clearance and verification process, ensure that all scanned and uploaded documents are clear and the right size.
7. To verify that your online clearance has been properly done, ensure that you preview your filled-in details at the last stage of the clearance wizard. Effect any corrections now, as making corrections later is a process.
8. When done, you will be contacted via your email, SMS or the NDU website, on when to proceed to the University for Document Screening & Verification.

Required Documents for Online Clearance: All documents should be scanned in and attached in JPEG/JPG format.
1. WAEC/NECO/SSCE/GCE/etc result. You are allowed a maximum of two (2) results.
2. Signed Statutory Declaration
3. Two (2) Signed Attestation letters addressed to:
The Registrar,
Niger Delta University,
Wilberforce Island,
Bayelsa State. Nigeria.
4. Birth Certificate/Age Declaration
5. Local Government Area identification letter.
C.
Required Documents for Document Verification at NDU
1. Original copy of this Admission Letter
2. Signed Acceptance Form
3. All original documents used for the Online Clearance, step B above.
4. Printed Original JAMB Admission letter from JAMB website.
Note:
You are NOT to pay school fees until you have done your online clearance, verified your documents by the Admissions Officer for your faculty at NDU and have been told to go and pay your fees. School Fees are to be paid an any branch of Diamond Bank in Nigeria.

2012/2013 POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE 1st CHOICE CANDIDATES ONLY

This is to inform the general public that the Post-UTME Screening Exercise of the Niger Delta University for the 2012/2013 session will take place as indicated below.

1. ELIGIBILITY

* Candidates who chose Niger Delta University as first choice ONLY, the PUME Screening exercise for second choice may come later

* Minimum UME score for all candidates is 180

2. REGISTRATION
Registration is online on the website at www.ndu.edu.ng or at www.ndu.ac starting from Wednesday, 25th of May, 2012 to 9th of June, 2012.

The Registration Process is as follows
i.Go to any Diamond or Skye,UBA,ECO and Trans Atlantic Mortgage Banks branh in Yenagoa or any Diamond or Sky banks branches in Nigeria along with your UTME Registration slip.

ii.Purchase an e-pin slip for Niger Delta University Post-UTME screening for a fee of 2,000 Naira ( two thousand Naira). The University cannot subsidize other charges such as Bank charges.

iii. Go online and log onto www.ndu.edu.ng and link the site www.ndu.ac or go directly to www.ndu.ac, and click on ‘Apply for Post-UTME screening exercise ’. Complete the online application for Post-UTME screening.

iv. The Passport photograph-
The passport photograph will be captured by using a web camera available on the computer you are using for the online registration. you do not need to scan a photograph and upload for the registration, Applicants must ensure that the computer they are using has a web camera.

v. Print out the generated Acknowledgment Letter and your Application form. Your seat number for the screening exercise will be indicated on the form. You must bring the (acknowledgment letter and Application form) a along to the screening venue.Candidates are advised to make photocopies of  the Acknowledgment Letter and the Application form. Candidate without the Acknowledgement Letter and Application form will not be allowed to do the  Post-UTME screening exercise

vi.Notification for Post-UTME exerciseYou will receive a notification through SMS via telephone and by e-mail indicating whether or not you are qualified to do the screening exercise. The dates for your screening exercise will also be available on our web site www.ndu.edu.ng

NOTE
1. Your application will not be successful if:
* your UTME score is less than 180
* the appropriate e-pin was not used

* If you enter a State of origin different from the one indicated on your JAMB Registration Form.
* Note that the screening exercise  start from your buying of the e-pin

2. Always check your e-mail box for mails.

3. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS 
READ AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

i. Passport Photograph – scanned photographs will not be accepted by the online registration system. Ensure that the computer you are using has a web camera which will take your passport photograph.

ii. Use the same name as you used in your UTME.

iii. Submit two valid e-mail addresses and phone numbers in your registration form. (Niger Delta University will not be held responsible if you use invalid e-mail and Telephone numbers)


4. SCHEDULE OF SCREENING EXERCISE

NOTICE OF SPECIFIC DAYS AND LIST OF HALLS  OF SCREENING WILL BE PLACED ON THE UNIVERSITY WEBSITE FROM 28TH OF MAY, 2012 AND AT  THE UNIVERSITY GATE ON THE DATE OF SCREENING. PLEASE CHECK FOR YOUR HALL USING YOUR SEAT NUMBER.

DATE, TIME AND VENUE OF SCREENING EXERCISE WILL BE POSTED ONLINE ON THE WEBSITE www.ndu.edu.ng

The Screening process is time consuming, given the fact that it involves Biometric techniques such as finger printing, late comers will not be screened.

Those resident outside Yenagoa/Wilberforce Island are advised to come a day earlier. The University is not responsible for accommodating any candidate.

Answer: The cut off mark for 2009 was 170 and for 2010 and 2011 it was 180, this applies to all departments.

Answer: it was sold for N3500 and N4000 including bank charges for first and second choice candidate respectively.

for 2012 the official price/cost is N2000 excluding bank charges

For those candidates i registered last year 2011, my charges was just addtion of N1100

Answer: To the best of my knowledge, there is nothing that concerns the school about provision of accommodation. You are the one that will find somewhere/someone to stay with.

Answer: Last year 2011, sales of the form lasted for 2 weeks, for 2012 it is still 2 weeks interval.

Answer: it is an e-pin they used to process their form, obtain from diamond bank Yenagoa

Can i use my phone to register for the post utme?
Answer: To the best of my knowledge it is not safe and good using your phone to do online registration. so i will say no to it and do not try it.

How long does it take if you are to purchase my e-pin for me.
Answer: maximum of 3-hours, it also depend on the time you call me. if i receive your payment, let say 9:00am, latest 12:30pm i have your e-pin already.

What is the safest time to purchase the post utme form?
Answer: The safest/best time to purchase it, is a day after which the form is out. Avoid waiting, till the very last minute before purchasing the form. Every year, many a candidate had fallen victim of not being unable to purchase the form at die minute, not that they do not have the money, but because they waited till the very last moment, forgotten that bank close their services at about 4:00pm.
Furthermore, network during that time is usually slow or  inaccessible due to too much internet traffic and just to generate a form might take up to hours. so count yourself  lucky knowing this rare information at hand and please tell other you know. I will advise you to start preparing now "I do not have time/chance, will make you spend more days trying to buy the form at the die minute"
