WESTERN DELTA UNIVERSITY 2015 POST UTME ADVERT

The Western Delta University, Oghara, Delta State, Nigeria, a private University approved by the Federal Government in May 2007 invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the undergraduate Degree Programmes of the University for the 2015/2016 Academic Session.

Intending candidates must have written the 2015 UTME Examination and have obtained the prescribed National minimum cut-off score.

Candidates who did not choose this University as their first or second choice can apply. Candidates for Direct Entry must have obtained JAMB Direct Entry Forms as applicable.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The minimum entry requirements for admission into Western Delta University are GCE O/Level, SSCE.NECO or NABTEB credit level passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics and three (3) other relevant science or social science subjects obtained at not more than two sittings. Candidates awaiting results can also apply.

DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Direct entry candidates are expected to possess a good Diploma (with minimum of lower credit), NCE (with minimum of merit), from recognised institutions OR 2 Advanced Level GCE passes in relevant subjects.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Go to https.//wdu.waeup.org/applicants

Click on 'Register for application' at the top left of the displayed page to proceed.

Provide all necessary information and Click on 'Get login credentials'.

Open your email to get your system generated id and password.

Go to https://wdu.waeup.org/login. Enter your user id and password to start the application process, click on 'Edit application record'. Select the programme of your choice, provide all required information and upload your passport photograph.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTION:

Click 'Edit application record' and at the bottom of the page click on 'Add online payment ticket' (See payment options below).

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

(a) Candidates with ATM-Enabled Verve, Visa or Master Card from any commercial Bank.

(i) Click on the Payment I D of the ticket created.

(ii) Click on 'CollegePAY' at the top of your page. Confirmation page will appear to enable you cross-check your payment details. If ok, Click 'Submit' to proceed with the payment through Interswitch payment gateway. Select your card type (Verve or Master Card), enter your card details and click "Pay". Note: Your CW2 is the 3- digit number printed at the back of your card.

(b) Candidates WITHOUT VERVE, VISA OR MASTER CARD should visit us at the Admission/Bursary Office of the University for assistance, with evidence showing payment for the non-refundable fee of N10,500 (Ten Thousand Five Hundred Naira) using "PREPAID CASH CARD" at any branch of the under listed banks nationwide;

Evidence of payment for the admission form should be brought to the venue of the screening exercise.

It is interesting to note that ALL the Degree Programmes run by this University are fully accredited by the NUC and within the period of seven (7) years, the University has turned out four (4) sets of graduates.
